Consulting, Training & Advisory Services

What do you want to do together that you can't do alone?
And who do you need to be together, to get there?
The strategic objectives and the team's capacity to execute them are best navigated in one conversation.

THE APPROACH

The best way to shift culture isn't to do culture workshops and communication training and then hire a strategy consultant for the strategy work. The best way is to engage in the real work together and build your culture in the process.

To build the muscle memory of what generative conflict actually feels like. To practice it on real priorities, with real stakes, so when your team is sitting together and grappling and being more vulnerable and speaking out, they recognize it. They know what this is. And they can do it again.

To have a facilitator present who guides the conversation, brings in the voices that are often left out, turns the polite quiet or the predictable screaming into productive grappling together toward shared aims and builds the awareness that this is possible, and the expectation for how your team engages. Shared solutions, shared ownership.

I work inside your strategic objectives — clarifying mission, vision, and values. Setting cascading goals. Facilitating through generative conflict. Supporting decision-making that sticks. And in doing that work, your team develops the capacity to sustain it long after the engagement ends.

I bring a decade of teaching collaboration and negotiation at Stanford, training in developmental psychology and systems change, and twenty years of working with leadership teams across sectors.

WHAT THE WORK CAN LOOK LIKE

Leadership & Team Offsites Align on purpose, vision, and strategic focus. Navigate change together. Build the trust and shared accountability your ambition requires. Designed and facilitated for the real conversations your team needs to have — and the decisions that need to be made in the room.

Ongoing Advisory & Facilitation Monthly or quarterly facilitation through periods of growth, transition, or organizational change. Tracking patterns, naming what's underneath the surface, and holding the space for your people to do their best thinking together.

Navigating Change When your organization is restructuring, scaling, pivoting, or moving through a transition that requires your people to work together differently, I design and facilitate the process so the change sticks and the team grows through it.

Mediation & Stakeholder Engagement When key relationships or creative tensions need a skilled hand. Naming what's real, navigating competing priorities, and finding the path that honors both the urgency and the complexity.

Impact Network Strategy & Facilitation For leaders building, revitalizing, or leading impact networks and cross-sector collaborations — designing for collective action, cultivating trust across boundaries, and co-creating the conditions for systemic change.

Workshops & Training Collaborative leadership, negotiation, navigating difficult conversations, emotionally intelligent teams. Experiential and research-based — designed to build new muscle, and most powerful when combined with ongoing support to ensure integration.

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN MOTION

The CEO of a mission-driven tech company was leading through rapid growth: nearly doubling revenue and scaling the team by hundreds in months. His leadership team included excellent individual leaders operating in silos. Decisions were slow. Accountability lived with the CEO. The team hadn't built the muscle for productive conflict or shared ownership.

One VP said it plainly: "It feels lonely and siloed here." Another: "We move so fast and set unrealistic timelines. You feel like you are on an island." Leaders who had worked together for years had never had a real conversation.

We designed a two-day leadership retreat that wove together the strategic and the developmental. The design was intentional. Personal stories first, building the relational trust that made productive conflict on real strategic priorities possible. Cascading goals across growth, quality, and transformation. The team practiced disagreeing, committing, and holding each other accountable on actual goals, with real stakes. They surfaced the creative tensions between competing values (humanity and productivity, curiosity and relentlessness) and held them as polarities rather than choosing sides.

The culture shift started when one leader shared with unexpected honesty, and the team followed. For the first time, people who had been all business learned what motivated each other, how they communicated, what they needed. By Day 2, the team was making decisions together, owning goals across functions, and committing to behaviors — each naming their strength, their lean-in, and what they needed from the others.

What leaders said after:

"The most genuinely open meeting we have had. Came away with decisions and a clear set of goals." — VP, Business Development

"We showed up and grappled together. We got out of our lanes and got both better results and real buy-in." — CEO

"We've had meetings with screaming before but this time it became constructive. Even 4-minute conversations, we know more about one another than in all of our time here." — VP, Quality

"Actual collaboration making decisions. Something tangible and meetings to follow up. Feels better than show and tell and an agenda so tight we can't breathe." — VP, People

"Learned a lot about how people communicate and what their baseline is. How you receive a message shifts how I tailor a message." — CFO

INVESTMENT

My work spans sectors — corporate, philanthropy, social enterprise, government, nonprofit — because the cross-pollination is where the richest insight lives. My clients are shaping health access, gender equity, immigrant power, thriving cities, and the systems that move capital and policy and at the center of all of it is the question of power: who holds it, how it's shared, and what becomes possible when it's wielded with purpose. I love linking arms with leaders across this range. The patterns I see across sectors become your strategic advantage.

Every engagement is bespoke, designed around what your team needs, from a single offsite to ongoing quarterly facilitation and advisory partnerships. Investment is shaped by the scope of the work and the capacity of the organization. I work on a tiered model — Solidarity, Sustain, and Full Cost — so that purpose-led organizations across sectors can access this work.

Everything begins with a conversation.
